The Banks County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary call early Friday morning at Lula Country Store, Highway 51 South, Lula. According to the report, a white male threw two large blocks of wood through the front door to gain entry into the store. Once inside, the offender stole 17 packs of cigarettes. Video cameras inside the store captured the break in on tape.

•illegal dumping on Henderson Road at Old Gillsville Highway.
