BOE millage rate to remain the same

The Banks County Board of Education unanimously approved a tentative millage rate of 13.244 mills at the monthly meeting on Thursday, Nov. 12. This is the same millage rate as last year, superintendent Chris Erwin reported.

The BOE is currently running a five-year tax digest and M&O levy history ad in The Banks County News.

A called meeting will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, to set the millage rate.
