CORNELIA – Ethel Dalton Morris, 87, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the Habersham County Medical Center.
Born on December 20, 1921, in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Mary Jane Brock Dalton. She was a member of the Level Grove Baptist Church and was a member of the Sunshine Band at her church. She delivered Meals on Wheels for a number of years and was employed with Runway Fish House for a number of years. She was employed with Carwood Manufacturing with 31 years of service and was retired from Ethicon with 17 years of service. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Morris; brothers, Tommy Dalton and James Wilton Dalton; and a sister, Agnes Poole.
Survivors include sisters, Gladys Poole, Baldwin, and Edna Gary, Cornelia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, at 2 p.m., from the Level Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Rice and Brian James officiating. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
