Two Baldwin residents were arrested on drug charges on Wednesday, Dec. 23, after the search of a residence located at 1102 Park Avenue, Baldwin.
Banks County Sheriff Charles Chapman said deputies, Baldwin Police Officers and Habersham County Sheriff’s Office deputies searched the residence after information was given to law enforcement that methamphetamine was being made at this location.
Officers arrested Young Otis Scroggs, 42, 435 Walden Street, Baldwin, and charged him with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a substance with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance.
Also arrested at the residence was Brandy Nicole Segars, 30, 1102 Park Avenue, Baldwin. Segars was charged with possession of hydrocodone, possession of morphine and possession of a dangerous drug.
Young and Segars were both booked into the Banks County Jail on these charges. Segars has been released on bond. As of Monday Scroggs is still being held at the jail on a probation violation charge, Chapman reported.
