Banks County Sheriff’s Office investigators are investigating the theft of a grill from the yard of a unoccupied Hebron Court, Commerce, residence. The theft occurred between Friday, May 14, and Monday, May 17.
Other thefts and burglaries investigated during the past week include:
•burglar alarm at a Ruben Lord Road, Commerce, residence. The homeowner advised the alarm was accidentally set off and everything was O.K.
•alarm at an Evans Street, Homer, residence. The responding deputy searched the area and found all the windows and doors secure and everything appeared to be O.K.
•burglar alarm at a Highway 164, Commerce, residence. The officer found all the windows and doors secured and no one was around the residence.
•theft by taking at a Deer Crest Road, Baldwin, residence.
•burglar alarm at a Dink McCoy Road, Homer, residence. The responding officer advised all the windows and doors were secure and all seemed to be O.K. at this location.
•burglary at a Laurel Ridge residence.
•burglary at a Neal Road, Commerce, residence.
•theft by taking at New Salem United Methodist Church, Highway 59, Commerce.
•burglar alarm at Papa John’s, Tanger Drive, Commerce. An employee advised the responding officer that he accidentally set the alarm off upon entry and all was O.K.
•burglar alarm at a Potttery Factory Drive, Commerce, business. The responding deputy advised all doors and windows were secure and the keyholder was notified.
•theft by taking at a Sims Bridge Road, Commerce, residence.
•burglar alarm at an Apple Pie Ridge Road, Alto, residence. The responding officer found all the windows and doors secured and reported the residence seemed O.K.
