COMMERCE – Diane “Hanner” Teague Williamson, 60, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Clayton on May 1, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Myrtle Page Teague. She was a certified nursing assistant at BJC Hospital and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She attended the Erastus Christian Church in Commerce. Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Speed.
Survivors include her husband, William Henry “Bodie” Williamson, Commerce; children and their spouses, Bruce and Cathy McCall, Maysville, Stacy and Vickie McCall, Lula, Kevin and Joy Williamson and Derek Stevens, Gainesville, Shannon and Jim McEachin, Commerce; brother-in-law, Andrew Speed, Clayton; brothers and spouses, Dan and Martha Jo Teague, Randy Teague, Dee Speed, Greg and Pam Speed and Karen and Bill Watkins, all of Clayton; stepdaughters, Cheryl Talley and husband, Shane, Otto, N.C., and Melanie Lucas, Whittier, N.C.; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 29, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clayton. Burial was in the church cemetery with the Revs. Raymond Page and Steve Parker officiating.
Hunter Funeral Home, Clayton, was in charge of arrangements.
