Female locked in the back of a van reported

Other incidents investigated by the sheriff’s office during the past week include:

•juvenile problem at an Otis Brown Road, Baldwin, residence. The responding officer made contact with one juvenile at this location where all appeared to be O.K.

•suspicious vehicle at Kut Up and Nails Salon, Steven B. Tanger Boulevard, Commerce. The responding deputy spoke to a male in a Dodge truck who stated he met his girlfriend at this location and they were talking in the parking lot.

•welfare check at a Harmony Church Road, Baldwin, residence.

•damage to a mailbox at a Carson Segars Road, Maysville, residence.

•civil dispute at a Grier Drive, Alto, residence.

•removal of a person from a Highway 51 South, Lula, residence. The complainant advised he wanted a male at this location to get his belongings and get off his property. The responding officer spoke to the male and he agreed to leave.

•noise complaint at a Water Plant Road, Commerce, residence. The complainant reported loud music coming from the residence next door to her. The responding deputy spoke to the resident next door and he stated he had turned the music down and there would not be any more problems.

•juvenile problem at a Cotton Tail Drive, Baldwin, residence. The responding office spoke to the juvenile and all appeared to be O.K.

•gas drive-off at the Citgo Convenience Store, Highway 441, Commerce. The complainant reported someone in a black Ford F-150 pumped $54 worth of gas into the truck and the credit card used did not register in the store. The complainant gave the responding officer a tag number. The truck was pulling a trailer with two motorcycles.
