Two people face drug charges after being arrested during the execution of a search warrant by the Banks County Sheriff’s Office late Friday, Aug. 27.
The search warrant was obtained after the BCSO obtained information that methamphetamine was being made at a residence located at 148 Stoney Creek Road, Maysville.
Banks County Sheriff Charles Chapman said, “At the time of the search warrant no meth was being made, but everything needed to operate a meth lab was taken. The meth was being cooked in a shed behind the house.”
The two arrested at the time of the search warrant were: Ricky Lee Masters, 38, 148 Stoney Creek Road, Maysville, and Virginia Ann Lange, 31, 9262 Maple Road, Toccoa. The two face charges of attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to possess methamphetamine.
Masters and Lange were booked into the Banks County Jail and the investigation continues by the BCSO criminal investigation division.
