A unique theater production of “Peter Pan” that leaves the audience feeling as if they are flying high above London with Tinkerbell and a dining experience that offers fresh oysters on the half shell and lobster while overlooking the lights of the city. The theater and dining experience make for a perfect night out in Atlanta.
“Peter Pan” is presented by threesixty° entertainment through March 20 in Pemberton Place, adjacent to the World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta. To make your night out in Atlanta complete, start the evening at Legal Sea Foods, located within walking distance of Pemberton Place, where a special theater package menu is offered. For those who want to spend the day or event the weekend in the city, the World of Coca Cola and the Georgia Aquarium are all located in the same area.
“Peter Pan,” J.M. Barrie's classic story, is performed in a state-of-the-art theater tent in Pemberton Place. The production features 23 actors, stunning puppets, epic music, dazzling flying sequences and the world's first 360-degree CGI theater set.
One of the most striking elements of this new production is the setting in which it is presented. The threesixty° Theatre, allows for performance “in the round” in a 1,300 seat theater-tent. The entire interior of the tent is lit with more than 15,000 square feet of Hi-Resolution video -- three times the size of Imax screens -- so that both cast and audience are immersed in Neverland.
When Peter and Wendy fly to Neverland, the audience flies with them over 400 square miles of virtual London and beyond.

LEGAL SEA FOODS
Legal Sea Foods is always a wonderful dining experience with fresh oysters from around the country, as well as fresh fish selections and several lobster dishes offered.
During the “Peter Pan” run, Legal Seafood is offering a special Captain Hook Dinner Menu. Appetizer selections include New England Clam Chowder, Classic Caesar Salad and a half dozen raw oysters. Entrée selections include lobster roll, Anna's Boston Baked Scrod and shrimp and stone ground grits. Dessert choices include Boston Crème Pie, key lime pie and Bananas Foster. For $29.95, you get your choice of an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
Our dining experience began with one dozen oysters. We tried Cape Cod, Kumamoto and Five Star Oysters and found them all to be wonderful. The Cape Cod oysters were sweet tasting, while the Kumamotos were salty. It was a great combination and wonderful start for the meal to follow.
The lobster roll and shrimp and stone ground grits are both great choices from the special theater menu. For those who love lobster, the New England Lobster Bake is a great choice. It starts off with a clam chowder that is creamy smooth with great chunks of meaty clam. Next up comes a plate filled with steamed littlenecks, mussels, grilled chourico and corn on the cob. It was delightful.
The Boston Crème Pie is a light end to the meal that is both creamy and flavorful.
Legal Sea Foods in Atlanta, located at 275 Baker Street Northwest, is in a wonderful space, adjacent to the Hilton, that overlooks the aquarium and the city scape. We enjoyed the lights of the city as we listened to jazz and enjoyed a leisurely meal. It's a nice atmosphere and you will find outstanding food and incredible service.
