The Georgia State Patrol reports Kristin Snyder, 32, Hartwell, was killed Wednesday in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 51 South in Lula.
The accident happened near Pine Hills Drive around 3:25 p.m.
The state patrol says Snyder lost control of her 2006 Scion when she was negotiating a curve. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and struck a tree on the driver’s side.
Snyder was the wife of a Georgia State Patrol Trooper with the Toccoa post and the mother of three.
