Praying for the family and his friends and loved ones. Such a terrible thing to happen to our kids. SO relieved when I was able to pick MY child up today~and hug him.

I would like to thank Banks County School System and the sheriff's dept for the way they handled this situation. I appreciate the phone calls from the school system and the lockdown in order to make sure our children (and yes I have a child in the high school) were safe and secure. It's a horrible thing for the boy and his family as well as our children and community. Please just remember to keep this family in your prayers. Our community has had 2 devastating things happen in the past week so again I ask for prayers for this family and the Phagan family.

Ms Wheeler you are very fortunate that you received a phone call because our family was left in the dark about our son at the HS for hours until we could reach a teacher. I pray for the families of both of these beautiful young people. However I am appalled at the lack of communication we personally recieved.

I would also like to say thank you to the Banks county school system and the Banks county sheriffs office. I was truly impressed by the way they handled the situation. My son attends BCHS and I felt that they took all the necessary steps to insure that all the children were safe. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this time of need.

We are praying for the family and friends of the boy at Banks County High. May God cover them with his wonderful Amazing Grace. The Sheriff and his department has been wonderful in handling this situation. Bless the school system also.

I just hope and pray that this was not because of being bullied. Like the mother stated "This was a perminate fix to a simple problem".
