Does anyone else wonder why the "Holiday Festival" was not held during the holiday weekend?

Yes, I do not understand why we have a holiday festival if it is not going to be on the Labor Day weekend. Traditionally, it used to always be on the Labor Day weekend and was held Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. This is the time that people are off from work, have their grandchildren and/or family with them and would like to carry them to the festival. Who is making these decisions in Banks County? It is crazy!!! We would have to be losing money by having the festival the weekend after. Very confused about this kind of decision. Let's please put it back on the weekend that it traditionally started - Labor Day Weekend.

Missed the social event of the year did ya? Not to worry, it's getting smaller every year, and soon the parade will start and end the festival all in one short scoop.
