Banks County Chamber CVB members recognized Bonnie Johnson on her service to the organization at the monthly meeting on Nov. 8. Johnson is stepping down after more than 20 years of serving the Banks County Chamber CVB. \
Chamber board members and chairman Todd Hubbard presented Johnson with a plaque and flowers in recognition of her service. Johnson resigned her position as president at the end of October.
“It has just been a joy,” Johnson said.
Johnson and her late husband, Ralph, were instrumental in getting the Clean and Beautiful program in Banks County and Johnson has pushed for a building for a building at Banks Crossing to be used by the Chamber CVB.
