The fire chief has bigger things to worry about, from the looks of things he may not even be here by election time.

I think Mr. Clark would do a fantastic job. He is a well respected man and believes in treating people fair. Good luck Mr. Clark!

I would like to urge Banks County Citizens to really look at what is going on here. Gary Clark is someone who likes to be in charge and thinks that he knows what's best for everyone. Yes he might be a well respected man and he might believe in treating people fair, but knowing someone and working with someone are two different things most of the time. We have a fire chief who has stepped up and is making some changes and saving the department alot of money that no other chief in the past has done for awhile. Unless you work for the department, or unless you have been to meetings to see what is actually being done, I do not think you need to say anything. You have to give him time to clean things up. A Commissioner needs to be someone who listens to all people(not because of who they are or who they know)and who will talk with the other commissioners and see what is going to be best for this county. A Commissioner is not for those who think they need to be in charge just so they can help them or their buddies get what they want and/or be an important person! If people would work together...like say offering suggestions to other people and maybe helping and encouraging them instead of trying to take them down, then maybe things could be better. And they definitely do not need to be plotting against people. So Banks County citizens....really think about what is best for this county! We need someone who is going to listen to people, not someone who already has their mind set on how things should be. Mr. Clark I urge you, if you are sincerely the type person who is going to listen to people and help this county, then I wish you luck...but if you already have your mind made up about how it should be, then I ask you to please step down from this running. I would also ask Charles Turk and Sammy Reece the same. Remember guys it's not about who you are friends with or who you know,or trying to be "the big man on campus"...it's about helping the citizens of this county!

Sammy is doing a great Job. He supports the Children and Seniors of our Community and county. He always Gives when the kids are raising money for trips or equipment, he Helps with the seniors when they are raising money by cooking for their Bingo Dinners. He gives his time to our community in every way. So why would we want to lose this great support on our board. He will always be supportive in our county. You can talk to Sammy anytime. Thanks for the great Job you are doing.

Before people start judging other people they need to know what they are talking about. The two commissioners listed above if people would only talk to them instead talking about them you will see what I mean. Communication is a two way road. I dare to ask you have you ever tried to talk to them. You probably have not. So before you go and judge you need to have all the facts.
