The Baldwin City Council, during Thursday’s work session, discussed Sunday alcohol sales in the city.
After a brief discussion, at the non-voting meeting, the concensus from the council was to put the issue out for the citizens to vote on it.
City attorney David Syfan said the council would need to decide if they were going to approve Sunday sales by the drink only or if it would also include package sales.
“You can have one referendum with two questions,” Syfan said.
Council member Jeff Parrish recommended holding the vote on the referendum during the November election.
