Man attacked while collecting belongings from residence

A man contacted the Banks County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 12 saying he was attacking while attempting to retrieve his clothes and other possessions from an East Glade Creek Road residence.


The man said he received a call from a woman at the residence that he could pick up his belongings. When he arrived he discovered the woman in bed with another man. As the complainant walked toward the door to leave a third man attacked him from behind. At this point the woman allegedly hit the complainant in the nose.

As the man was still attempting to get to his truck to leave, the man who had jumped his from behind, then pulled a knife on him.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

In other domestic-related incidents from the past week, the BCSO responded to:

•dispute at a Herbert Segars Road, Gillsville residence.

•dispute at a Stevens Road, Commerce, residence.
