The Banks County Board of Commissioners agreed at its July 22 meeting to seek bids for a recreation complex but this doesn’t mean the project will be done. The action is only to seek prices so that the BOC can get an idea of the cost of a project.
The BOC will decide after reviewing the bids how to proceed with the project with one possibility being doing it in phases.
In other business at the July 22 meeting, the BOC approved the following:
•senior center meal contract with Deanna Inc. (T&T Transportation).
•Meals on Wheels contract with Legacy Link for $9,450.
•law clerk agreement.
•E-911 software contract with ARCGis for $400.
•heavy equipment lease agreement with Caterpillar Equipment.
