An investigation by the Banks County Sheriff’s Office led to felony arrest warrants being issued for 11 employees of the Banks Crossing Applebee’s last week.
Sheriff Charles Chapman said the employees, all of whom were waiters and waitresses, were involved in scam involving gift cards. They allegedly manipulated the cards for approximately $70,000 in a scam, which may have been going on for up to a year, the sheriff said.
Four employees were arrested last weekend with two additional ones arrested Monday morning. Warrants are still out for four additional employees.
The management of Applebee’s conducted an investigation and then requested assistance from the BCSO in the matter, Chapman said.

Surely the Employer knew in the length of time it had been going on that something was not right. I hope they are punished to the full extent of the law if they are indeed guilty.
I had a similar experience in another restaurant close by. needless to say, I don't dine at the outlet anymore.
Thanks for your attention to my concerne.
Yours Truely,
Your Local Neighborhood Applebees employee
