Jack Theo Brock, 66, of Mt. Airy, died Monday, November 3, 2008, at Habersham County Medical Center, following an extended illness.
Born in Banks County on November 25, 1941, he was the son of the late Joe and Minnie Broome Brock. He worked for LP Gas as a security guard and was Baptist. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include a sister, Pauline Brown, Mt. Airy; brother and sister-in-law, Duckett and Ethelyn Brock, Baldwin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Franklin officiating. Burial will be at Welcome Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
