A Rucker Road resident reported damage to government property with the Banks County Sheriff’s Office during the past week. The resident said someone used an unknown tool to scratch vulgar and racial language on the road signs on Rucker Road.
Other incidents reported last week to the sheriff’s office includes the following:
•entering an auto at the Hampton Inn, Highway 441, Commerce.
•harassing phone calls at a Windmill Farm Road, Homer, residence.
•damage to property at the T/A Truck Stop, Highway 441, Commerce.
•public intoxication at RaceTrac, Highway 441, Commerce.
•suspicious phone calls at a Patchwork Tree Drive residence.
•entering an auto at Ryan’s, Steven B. Tanger Boulevard.
•burglary at Queen’s Nails and Tan, Pottery Factory Drive, Commerce.
•harassment at a Damascus Road, Homer, business.
•suspicious person at a David Hill Road residence.
