Faye Ledford Justus, 67, of Alto, died Saturday, December 6, 2008, following a sudden illness.
Born in Macon County, N.C., on May 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles Tindell and May Bell Alexander Ledford. She was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills with over 30 years of dedicated service and was Baptist. Mrs. Justus was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Sue Ramey; and a brother, Doyle Ledford.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Christy Lynn and Keith Williams, Alto; son, Richard Allen Justus, Clayton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Helen Ledford, Toccoa, and Charles and Linda Ledford, Franklin, N.C.; grandchildren, Misty Tolle, Noel Herron, Buster Justus, Ashley Pollard, Keaton Williams, Taylor Williams and Hailey Williams; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 9, at Whitfield Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Williams officiating. Burial was in Level Grove Cemetery.
Whitfield Funeral Home, South, Baldwin, was in charge of arrangements.
