COMMERCE – Q.D. Anderson, 74, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at his residence.
Born in Banks County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Carrie Mize Anderson. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel McDonald Anderson.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and James Allen, Commerce; sister, Allene Sears, Homer; brothers, Johnny and Swayne Anderson, both of Commerce.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 28, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Homer Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
