County unemployment rate 5.8 percent

Banks County’s unemployment rate continues to be better than other county’s in the area at 5.8 percent in December, but that is still higher than last year’s 3.3 percent for the same period.


The highest in the area is Franklin County at 8.9 percent unemployment.

According to state unemployment data, Banks county had 645 people unemployed in December.

And the morons on the County Board of Education increases taxes by how many mills? The members who voted yes need to be taken out behind the barn!!!
