Two people charged with sale of cocaine

Two people were arrested on Thursday, Feb. 12, after Banks County Sheriff’s Office undercover investigators purchased cocaine from them, Sheriff Charles Chapman said on Monday.


Those arrested and their charges are: Kierre Shamar Ramsey, 20, 211 Georgia Bell Avenue, Jefferson, sale of cocaine and possession of dangerous drugs and Eddie Gene Adams, 24, 210 Spratlin Drive, Jefferson, illegal possession of dangerous drugs and illegal possession of a controlled substance.

Ramsey and Adams were booked into the Banks County jail and released on bond pending their appearance in court, Chapman said.
