Banks County schools will be be open on Tuesday after being shut down Monday due to weather conditions. Several inches of snow was reported in Banks County after Sunday's snow storm.
Anyone with snow photos is asked to email them to AngieEditor@aol.com. Some of the photos submitted will be featured on our website and in this week's issue of The Banks County News.

Snow covers county? I drove about five miles in western Banks yesterday and saw hardly anything at all, just rain.

I should have driven a bit further to deliver you your cookie for having 2-3 inches whereas I had none. Seriously, I guess every storm has its edge, and I was on the wrong side if I wanted snow!

Wow, take three deep breaths, relax, count to ten, and hit the "Caps Lock" button one more time to make it seem like you're not screaming on the computer. The guy made a harmless comment. I didn't sense any whining in what they said. They made a comment. I agree, it's a bit frustrating when I get no snow, and folks ten miles down the road get the snow event of the decade. It's not like it snows ten times every winter here. I'm sorry that people lost their power and such, but by and large most people were very excited to see the snow. You're blowing things waaaaaaaaaaaaay our of proportion.
