More than 40 people attended a Banks County Board of Education meeting Wednesday night (April 1) on a proposal to cut employee salaries. Banks County School System employees may be the latest to suffer from the economic downturn. The board of education is considering cutting local supplements which would mean a salary reduction for employees.
