Banks rolls over Rabun 35-6

The Banks County High School football ventured up Hwy. 441 Friday and recorded a 35-6 victory against region foe Rabun County.

With the victory, the Leopards are now 2-1 in 8-AA play and 2-2 overall. Coach Blair Armstrong's team will host region opponent North Oconee High School this Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the second annual Shawn Smith Bowl. For the Banks County High School fast-pitch softball team, the time is now.

The time is at hand for a new season. Coach Josh Lord’s squad will begin the 2008 campagin Friday and Saturday at the annual Lanier Point Invitational Tournament in Hall County with two games Friday and another contest Saturday.
