No doubt the debate on George Bush’s presidency will go on for generations.
There are extremes on both sides of the argument. Many believe he was the greatest thing since sliced bread and would have quickly ushered him in for a third term if given the opportunity.

Ray McBerry must have felt like a man without a party in 2006.
McBerry challenged Governor Sonny Perdue during the primary but you wouldn’t have known it from the state Rep-ublican Party, who pretended the challenger didn’t exist.

Banks Countians will go to the polls Tuesday to cast their choice for president, as well as decide on state races and local issues. With one month of early voting held for the first time ever, a record number of voters — almost 2,000 — have already cast a ballot.
